Our business is no spring chicken. Four generations ago, Malcom Rasmusen started the egg farm that evolved into the company we’re so proud to be part of today. And if you’re wondering, the chicken came first.

Every morning, the chickens, quite noisily and eggcitedly, make their own way outside to spend the day eggsploring the forest. They’re practically wild. That’s how we get happier chickens laying Better Eggs®.
The hens then sleep and lay in their barn once they’ve returned from the great outdoors. A comfortable warm and dry place for them to call home, if they could talk.
“You can’t make an omelette without breaking some eggs,” said Nana once. Or a cake or a quiche or a salad or about a million other things, we said. Few things in the repertoire of human culinary adventure are as versatile and delicious as the egg. What a contribution to cooking!
